Both KSI and Tommy Fury have to knock each other out in the Misfits Prime Card this Saturday – but more often than not, the body never lies…
Body language expert Darren Stanton – known as The Human Lie Detector, has analysed the final face to face in last night’s press conference between KSI and Tommy Fury.
Speaking to Casino Alpha, Stanton reveals that a ”Primeval” KSI’s ”quiet confidence” will be the undoing of Tommy Fury as both traded jabs whilst being separated by a bullet-proof glass panel.
‘Primeval’ KSI backed to KO Tommy Fury who ‘talks a good game’ like Conor McGregor, claims world leading body language expert
The Human Lie Detector analyses the ending of a tense press conference before the two fighters prepare to do battle in Manchester
A world-renowned body language expert has analysed the body language and actions of both KSI and Tommy Fury before their fight in Manchester on Saturday evening at the AO Arena.
Both men had to be separated by bullet-proof glass inside a steel cage and Darren Stanton – who has advised international police and worked on major TV shows in the US and Britain – believes the quiet confidence of the YouTube star is a concern for the former Love Island contestant.
Speaking to Casino Alpha, Darren Stanton reveals…
Fury tried to intimidate and undermine KSI but failed
“Fury is really making an effort to intimidate and undermine KSI during this very tense face-off. He’s trying to make him look a bit silly, however he has a very different kind of confidence.
“If you look at the difference between the verbal attacks between the two, Fury is firing off at least twice as many verbal jabs. What I found really interesting was the posture that KSI takes up; he’s approached the situation with his hands behind his back and this is almost a primeval gesture.
“Most of our vital organs are located at the front of our body, although Fury is on the offensive, KSI moving his hands behind his back unconsciously tells me that he is not in the slightest bit concerned or perturbed about Fury and his comments.
KSI has quiet confidence that you ‘have to watch out for’
“It’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for, as the saying goes, so KSI clearly has an immense amount of confidence and self-belief that he is going to win the fight. I don’t think it is by any means all over like Fury would have us believe.
“Fury likes to be a bit of a showman and his gestures and actions are similar to Conor McGregor. He likes to talk about a good game and he wears grandiose clothes and things like that. If I was to put money on it, I would put money on KSI because he has nothing to prove. When people are quiet like that and utilise non-verbal communication in such a way, it suggests an immense confidence that he can knock Fury out cold.
Prolonged eye contact suggests that both men were either to kiss or kill
“Eye contact is also so important, with three-to-five seconds as normal eye contact between friends, relatives, colleagues etc. Anything longer than that, we are either going to kill them or kiss them. Prolonged eye contact is generally reserved for romantic partners, but prolonged eye contact in an aggressive setting is also significant.
“Great bouts of eye contact means both men are incredibly confident in their abilities. However, my money would be on KSI.”
