It is probably going to be a long season for Colorado Rockies fans, but at least they had a thrilling start to their home schedule on Friday with a 10-7 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The game concluded in the bottom of the ninth inning with what has to be one of the most exciting plays in baseball, a walk-off grand slam.
With the Rockies trailing, 7-6, third baseman Ryan McMahon stepped to the plate with one out and crushed the first pitch he saw from Rays relief pitcher Jason Adam deep into the right-field stands.
Have a look.
