Miguel Rojas is a smooth operator at shortstop. Dodgers fans have seen it in the past in his first tour of duty with LA and now in his return, he’s been as good as ever on defense. When you watch the man they call Miggy Ro, it looks like the game is just too easy for him. So easy, in fact, he can just make tough plays in the middle of an interview.
Don’t believe me? Just watch.
Battling the shadows of an early evening game time at Dodger Stadium, Rojas glides to his left to secure a groundball and fires a strike to Freddie Freeman.
And in true Miggy Ro fashion, he apologized to the ESPN booth in the middle of making the play.
Rojas’s resugent season in the second half has been a big catalyst for the Dodgers’ hot play. And he’ll continue to be an important part of the club into and through the postseason.
