The resort will operate as usual through April 14th before taking a break during the week.
Then, the two bonus weekends kick in: April 19th through the 21st and April 26th through the 28th. During these bonus weekends, the Mt. Rainier Gondola, Rainier Express, and Green Valley will spin.
Crystal will keep things interesting in April with a lineup of events, including the “second annual Verde Valle Banked Slalom on April 20-21st, Over the Top Rail Jam on April 28th, and live music each weekend.”
Like several ski resorts throughout Washington, Crystal has had a tough go at this season, with warm weather and a lack of snowfall hamstringing conditions.
But recent snow has reinvigorated the Washington ski area. Now, coverage is solid, and nearly all of the resort’s 2600 acres of terrain are open.
This weekend is set to bring springy conditions, with temperatures in the high 40s possible.
