Vintage Indy recently announced it will be included as a companion event at a fourth NTT IndyCar series event in 2024. Vintage Indy cars will join the series finale at Nashville Superspeedway for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, September 13-15. This will mark the third appearance in Nashville for the legendary cars following initial appearances at the MCGP’s inaugural and second-year race through the streets of downtown Nashville.
Vintage Indy’s President Michael Lashmett said, “We are thrilled to be returning with the NTT IndyCar series to Nashville’s Music City Grand Prix and the oval at Nashville Superspeedway.”
Vintage Indy concluded a successful start to its season last weekend at the Grand Prix of Long Beach. 18 cars spanning several eras of IndyCar history wowed fans on track and in the convention center throughout the weekend.
Next up for Vintage Indy is a trip to Road America June 6-9, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in Schenley Park August 2-4, WWT Raceway August 16-18, M1 Concourse’s American Speed Festival in Pontiac, MI October 4-6, and the Music City Grand Prix September 13-15.
