2.65 litre 82 Degree V8. Single turbo with a modest 1.35 bar boost pressure (lower than some road cars)
With output of 820bhp revving to a mind blowing 14,400rpm, this would sit at these revs for hours during an IndyCar race, where you can expect about 1.8mpg.
Impressive compression ratio of 14.6:1. Which for a turbo engine, is saying something about its strength and reliability.
Geared to send it north of 230mph.
It also runs on methanol, and because of its corrosive nature has to be flushed through with petrol after every run.
