Why did you choose UChicago? I knew I wanted to stretch myself academically while competing on a top-ranked team. UChicago was the right place for that.
Favorite moment of your UChicago athletic career? Last season we won our first national championship. This was definitely the best moment of college for me.
Favorite team tradition/activity? At least once a quarter the team holds an Olympic games where we compete against each other in a series of non-tennis related activities. This is always a ton of fun, and we get to embrace our competitive side while becoming closer as a team.

What lessons have you learned through competing in your sport that have stuck with you? One of the most important characteristics you can have is resiliency. No one can win all the time, so you have to be able to bounce back from a loss.
What advice would you give to your first-year teammates? Appreciate your unlimited meal plan while you still have it.
Favorite UChicago class that you learned the most from and why? Humor and Deception with Jason Riggle.
