Palisades Tahoe, CA, Tahoe’s largest ski resort, is getting close to its snowfall average of 400 inches per season.
Currently, the resort is sitting at 362 inches of snowfall this season, and this weekend, officials of the resort posted a gorgeous photo of the snow-laden terrain. See below.

4 inches of that fell in the last day, 30 inches fell in the last week, and Palisades Tahoe has a base depth of 180 inches.
There is also more snow on the way for the resort: an inch or two is predicted to fall today, with an inch possible tomorrow, and an inch on Wednesday. Wednesday night could see up to 11 inches, and Thursday will see another possible dusting of an inch or two.
Friday could potentially be a powder day, as well, with 3-5 inches forecast to fall during the day and 4-8 inches overnight.
It looks like next weekend is another weekend of great conditions at Palisades Tahoe.
Spring skiing is Tahoe’s strong suit, but who knew March would be such a snowy month? The resort has seen over 11 feet this month alone. Let’s keep it going.
