What is overrun? A common sight on most racing cars, and even some high performance road cars.
This is known when you lift off the throttle at high rpm, and the period where the engine slows down, during which any unburnt fuel will get ignited through the rest of the exhaust system, whilst the throttle is still closed.
Often caused when running a very aggressive fuel map. But this same setup can be a double edged sword. Over fuelling can be a strategy used to cool down cylinder temperatures, but too much can destroy the CAT.
It's highly likely this Porsche 934 doesn't have a CAT to worry about, instead it produces a wonderful sight that even NASA would probably be proud of.
