Scuderia Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur has spoken about the structural changes that will take place in the Maranello team, asking the Tifosi for time.
Since Frederic Vasseur took over as the new Team Principal of Ferrari, there have been several structural changes at Maranello.
The former head of Alfa Romeo immediately made modifications to the team’s setup, intervening clearly and decisively in key positions. From appointing a new strategy chief to the departure of Laurent Mekies, Fred Vasseur has demonstrated his intention to sever any potential ties with the Mattia Binotto management.
In this regard, on multiple occasions, the French manager has announced the arrival of new technicians who will strengthen the Maranello outfit. In a recent interview, Mattia Binotto’s successor revisited the topic of upcoming changes. “We will certainly make changes in the coming days, in the next weeks, and in the next years,” stated Fred Vasseur. “Obviously, some roles will require more time than others. It’s an evolution and an improvement that will be permanent.” – the French manager pointed out.
“When you do my job, you have to be good at not assuming that everything is perfect,” the Ferrari Team Principal added. “You must always aim to take steps forward. There will always be something to improve as well as things that need to be changed. If you stick with the same structure for two consecutive years, you are sportingly dead, as others will continue to progress,” Frederic Vasseur concluded.
