Dodgers right-hander Dustin May will undergo surgery on his right elbow to repair the flexor tendon later this month, per a team announcement. The surgery will bring an end to May’s 2023 campaign. While the Dodgers didn’t specify a timetable for May’s return, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register notes that a typical recovery time for the procedure is between six and nine months. That timeline would put May on track to return early in the 2024 campaign, with the shorter end of that window allowing for a normal Spring Training.
