Brooks Koepka is optimistic about his brother Chase’s chances of making a comeback in the LIV Golf League after his relegation from LIV Golf. There are great chances for his brother to make a comeback if he plays on the Asian Tour.
In an interview with the media, Brooks confirmed that this is one of the options. However, he still does not know what his brother will decide. Brooks didn’t have many conversations with his brother on the subject. Brooks is positive and believes that his brother has the necessary confidence.
“Obviously he’s got that option where he can go play the Asian Tour and try to work his way back. That’s up to him. I don’t know,” Brooks said talking about his brother, Chase. “We haven’t had that talk of just trying to figure out what exactly the next step for him is, right.
He’s got to be confident whatever decision he makes.”- he said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com!
Brooks Koepka: I can’t knock him. He’s tried
Chase did his best and tried to fix things. That was not enough to remain part of this story.
Brooks also played an important role in the whole story. “I can’t knock him. He’s tried. I mean, I’ve spent hours working with him. We’ve gone out and practiced a bunch. He hasn’t given up. He’s tried the whole way through, and I’ll never knock anybody as long as you’re going to give maximum effort.
Unfortunately, look, I’ve been through spells, everybody up here has been through spells where they just don’t play good.” The Asian Tour will be a great chance for him to improve his form and return to where he belongs.
Brooks is optimistic that things could turn out ideal for his brother. The most important thing is that he trains hard and gives his best. “So I think I’ve got sympathy for him when it comes to that. He worked hard, and sometimes the results don’t show right away.
Hopefully they can show if he chooses to go the Asian Tour route and keep playing over there, and hopefully he’ll make it back out here. I’d love to have him again.”
