The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting set for a huge three-game series with the Braves in Atlanta this week. The Dodgers and Braves enter as the two best teams in the National League, in a series that’s sure to feel like a little more than a regular season series in May.
The Dodgers will be turning to the rookies over the first two games of the series. Gavin Stone is making his second career start at the MLB level on Monday, while Bobby Miller will be making his MLB debut on Tuesday.
Stone will be going up against longtime veteran pitcher Charlie Morton on Monday, who’s having another strong year for Atlanta (but more on the pitching matchup later).
Here’s a look at the lineup Dave Roberts is sending out against Morton and the Braves.
Mookie Betts returns to the leadoff spot after a day off on Sunday while Freddie Freeman is making his second return to Atlanta batting in the two-hole, but this one is sure to have fewer tears.

Gavin Stone will look to have a better start than his debut, but it won’t be easy against this tough Braves lineup. Hopefully, his changeup is working, and he’s able to give the Dodgers a little bit of length before the bullpen takes over.
As for Morton, he’s struggled against the Dodgers in five career starts, sporting a 4.94 ERA in 27.1 innings. The Dodgers will hope that those numbers continue on Monday
