Dodgers RHP Dustin May has been removed from Wednesday’s start against the Minnesota Twins after just one inning.
His velocity was down in the first inning, but we have no idea if there was an injury or what was going on.
All we know is he finished the first inning and went back down to the clubhouse.
RHP Dylan Covey, who was added to the active roster just before the game, has come in to pitch the second inning, and hopefully a lot more.
The Dodgers bullpen has been greatly taxed over the last few days, so they really need Covey to have a long outing.
We’ll continue to update this story when we know more. But for now, May is out of the game and back in the Dodgers clubhouse.
