Ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, commonly known as Imola, Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc was interviewed by the Italian media and wanted to express his love for the Maranello team, confirming that his intention is to continue with the Scuderia, while also pointing out the need to improve the results.
Question: These are the most important years of your career, do you ever feel at this moment that you’re missing an opportunity?
Charles Leclerc: “But I don’t think driving for Ferrari is something wasted, never. Maybe Carlos and I, not maybe, for sure we are the luckiest drivers on the grid. Then it’s clear and I won’t hide it, I am not happy with the results we have at this moment, the team is not happy, but that doesn’t mean anything regarding the pride I have for being a Ferrari driver. As I said, I want to win the championship. I want to win races, but I want to do it in red. Ferrari has done everything for me. Yes, I am very fortunate to be in red. Now it’s up to us to make a difference and bring Ferrari back to where it deserves to be.”
