Dodgers fans are passionate about their team and the game, but the rising costs of attending games at Dodger Stadium can be a challenge for many. Whether you’re going with family, friends, or on a date, the expenses can add up quickly.

That’s why we hit the streets to bring you a list of the absolute best bars near Dodger Stadium. These spots offer a fantastic game-day atmosphere where true blue Dodgers fans can gather, cheer on their team, and enjoy a memorable experience without the hefty price tag.

And you won’t even have to wait as long for an overpriced beer like Dodger Stadium!

Our Doug McKain (@DMAC_LA) visited two spots close to 1000 Vin Scully Ave and dropped the highlights in the video above (or you can click, watch, and comment here)! Chug McKain stopped off first at…

35er

Hours: Opens at 3 p.m.

Located at 12 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105, the 35er is family-owned and operated since opening in old-town Pasadena in 1963, the 35er bar is an old school dive bar that features dozens of beer varieties that highlight local and regional breweries plus a full cocktail bar and plenty of wine options. The 35er is the go-to Dodgers bar in Pasadena with billiards, popcorn, and televisions everywhere you look to watch your Boys in Blue. Check them out on Instagram!

The Short Stop

Hours: Opens at 5 p.m.

Located just blocks away from Dodger Stadium at 1455 Sunset Blvd, The Shortstop is the quintessential Dodgers watering hole. This low-key bar is a favorite pregame and postgame spot for Dodgers fans looking for that no-frills, no-fuss dive bar experience.

The Shortstop’s reasonably priced classic cocktails and beers, nostalgic charm, lively dance floor, and pool tables make it a favorite amongst Dodgers fans looking to have a good time while being surrounded by fans of The Boys in Blue. Check them out on Instagram!

La Cita

Hours: Opens at 11 a.m.

Right in the middle of downtown LA, La Cita is stocked with a full bar, plenty of beer taps, and TVs. It’s a great spot to hit before, during, and after Dodger games! Food wise, the menu changes daily as they welcome different pop ups and street vendors to keep patrons well fed. La Cita might be the most lively of any spot when you get into late night when the music starts thumping and people hit the dance floor. Check them out on Instagram.
